lemme talk about the recent football match(coz football's one thing i can talk abt).....it was between the 3rd years n 5th years.....and frankly speakin, neither wanted to play....why??...to avoid a fight....(the ydisgrace the game, dont they??)
now i want to put forth one question here....why do they want to fight......even in the tug-of-war event, which is sposed to be a fun event, why did it end up in a fight....i know im soundin a bit too sad....but dats how the situation is.....personally, i may not know what has happened b4 i came in here.....but i do share a decent relationship with most 5th n 3rd years......in such a case, id really like to know, why these ppl are bent upon fightin all da time.....abt who's da stronger chap!!.....
the one reason i may miss this place ven im gonna graduate frm NLU is its ppl......i believe this place is made coz of the ppl, coz everyone knows, the admin n worklife sucks....then why disturb such relations.....the 3rd years blame da 5ht fer everythin, and the 5th blame the 3rd in turn....WHY CANT BOTH SHUT UP??....
i beg them to excuse me fer any unparliamentary lang, but wtf??...its my blog.....!!

The problem is, quite simply, one of attitude. If everyone wants to be a cool dude, and try and cut everyone else down to size, it's pretty inevitable that these sorts of things will happen.
I've been here for five years, and I've lost count of all the "cool" guys ( and girls) here. And it's got nothing really to do with which batch you are in. Heck, there are quite a few first years who are heading down the same old road.
It boils down to a personal choice. Do you really care what the whole bloody world thinks about you or not? If you don't, then you don't really bother with whether women think you are cool, and whether the guys revere you or not. On the other hand, if peer pressure affects you to a larger extent, you modify your behaviour to try and either fit in, or lead the group you happen to be a part of.
It's a human thing. The alternative is to be rather divorced from the day to day happenings in college, and just lead your own quiet little life, which is what some people do. This however, has the problem of occasionally being boring. (Trust me, I know :D )
Yes, I agree with you about the stupidity of it all, but unfortunately, I think it's got an air of inevitability about it. You can see it going to happen, and you know in your bones, that otherwise normal people will suddenly become ravening monsters, baying for the blood of the "others", whomever the others are, whether it be juniors, seniors or little green men.
Sigh, maybe I'm just jealous of the cool guys, ya know :) so you might want to consider these the diseased ramblings of a poisoned soul. Somehow though, I think not!

well...obviously its what one chooses for himself...but cant people stick to themselves....obviously, there will be one or two disturbers, there cant be perfect harmony...but cant his batchmates impose some control...may be his friends can...
And one more thing is, are you sayin nag bhaiyya, that people are gettin bored of their routine life, and hence they're tryin to create nuisance??...thats what it sounded like to me n it surely sounded funny...

as to my own batch, i assure you that even though they try to act heroes, well, i dont hav probs wid dem coz like u said, its their life..but if it interferes with any public issue, then i do my best n im sure the rest of the batch will do its best to avoid any further controversy.
